Leni Rivera

I am a leading expert in gastrointestinal health and physiology and have pioneered work on enteric neuropathies. I have a large repertoire of skills and have advanced skills in physiological studies of gastrointestinal motility and secretion. My research program is focused on digestive physiology and nutrition, in particular targeting gut health in obesity and metabolic disease. I am also a senior lecturer in the School of Medicine at Deakin University where I oversee block and unit coordination in the pre-clinical years of the Doctor of Medicine Degree.
